Apre oggi “Michael 50”, la mostra dedicata a Schumacher. Al Museo Ferrari folla di tifosi da tutta Europa. Tantissimi tifosi e i rappresentanti degli Scuderia Ferrari Club di tutta Europa sono oggi al Museo Ferrari per l’apertura della mostra “Michael 50” in occasione del compleanno del campione.
L’omaggio di Maranello a Michael Schumacher per i suoi 50 anni prende forma in una mostra speciale che racconta la sua straordinaria carriera e i suoi record ineguagliati nella storia della F1: 7 titoli mondiali, 91 vittorie, 155 podi.
La Sala delle Vittorie espone alcune delle monoposto Ferrari più importanti tra quelle guidate nei suoi undici anni con la Scuderia. Dalla F310 del 1996, con la quale Schumacher vinse tre Gp nella sua prima stagione con il Cavallino Rampante, alla F399 che permise al team più longevo nella storia della Formula 1 di aprire nel 1999 un eccezionale ciclo vincente con la conquista del titolo Costruttori. È presente anche la F1-2000 della leggendaria “Alba Rossa”, quando a Suzuka Michael tornò a conquistare il titolo mondiale a 21 anni di distanza da Jody Scheckter. Non potevano mancare la F2002 e la F2004, le vetture dei record, e la 248 F1 del 2006, con cui conquistò in Cina la sua ultima vittoria, la numero 72 con la Ferrari.
Gli appassionati avranno anche modo di scoprire un lato meno conosciuto di Schumacher, quello di sviluppatore. Dopo avere lasciato la Formula 1, infatti, il campione di Kerpen rimase in Ferrari non solo per aiutare la Scuderia ma anche per contribuire alla messa a punto di alcune vetture stradali, come la 430 Scuderia del 2007 e la Ferrari California del 2008.
L’esposizione affianca le mostre già presenti al Museo di Maranello, “Driven by Enzo” e “Passion and Legend”.
“Michael 50” è organizzata in collaborazione con la Fondazione Keep Fighting.

Fans from all over Europe flock to the Ferrari Museum
Maranello, 3 Jan 2019 – Fans and representatives of Scuderia Ferrari Clubs from all over Europe are flocking to the Ferrari Museum today for the opening of the ‘Michael 50’ exhibition on the occasion of the champion’s 50th birthday.
Maranello has put together a special exhibition telling the story of Michael Schumacher’s extraordinary record-breaking F1 career: the German champion won an as yet unequalled seven world titles, 91 victories, and 155 podiums.
The Hall of Victories displays some of the most important Ferrari single-seaters driven in his eleven years with the Scuderia. They range from the F310 of 1996, with which Schumacher won three GPs in his first season with the Prancing Horse, to the F399, the car that won the Constructors’ title in 1999 to set Formula 1’s oldest team off on an exceptional run of victories. There is also the F1-2000 of the legendary ‘Alba Rossa’ (‘Red Dawn’), when at Suzuka Michael secured Ferrari its first the world title since Jody Scheckter 21 years before. Then of course there are the record-breaking F2002 and F2004, and the 248 F1 of 2006, in which he triumphed at the Chinese GP for his 72nd and final victory with Ferrari.
Fans will also be introduced to a lesser-known side of Schumacher, that of developer. Indeed, after leaving Formula 1, the German driver remained at Ferrari not only to help the Scuderia but also to contribute to the development of various road cars, such as the 430 Scuderia in 2007 and the Ferrari California in 2008.
The exhibition will run alongside ‘Driven by Enzo’ and ‘Passion and Legend’, which are already open at the Maranello Museum.
