**DARDUST TO PERFORM AT THE ARENA DI VERONA FOR THE OPENING CEREMONY OF THE PARALYMPIC WINTER GAMES MILANO CORTINA 2026**
**The composer of the official soundtrack of the Games will be among the leading artists of the great show scheduled for 6 March.**
Milan, 4 March 2026 – Dardust, composer of the official soundtrack of the Games, will take center stage at the Opening Ceremony of the Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026, scheduled for 6 March at the Arena di Verona.
The composer and producer will bring his musical language to the stage, in which piano and electronics intertwine to give sound shape to the concept of the Ceremony, “Life in Motion”.
Dardust, Dario Faini’s stage name, is one of the most influential musicians and producers on the Italian scene.
Pianist and composer with over one hundred platinum records, he has built a personal language that intertwines minimalism, northern European electronics and cinematic suggestions, he has contributed to some of the most successful hits of leading Italian artists.
His work redefined the role of the producer-author, bringing electronic neoclassical music to a broad audience, while translating identity, landscapes and emotions into a strong narrative musical language.
“Life in Motion”: music as a language of change
The Ceremony unfolds around the concept “Life in Motion”, a tribute to life as a continuous transformation.
The scenic story is inspired by the power of art to interpret the present and imagine new harmonies between territories and communities.
In this context, Dardust’s presence takes on a precise symbolic value: his sound language, capable of blending piano and electronics with an evocative sensitivity, interprets movement not only as a physical gesture, but as creative tension, momentum and energy that is renewed.
An already recognizable sound identity
With “Fantasia Italiana”, the official soundtrack of the Games, Dardust has already shaped the musical identity of Milano Cortina 2026.
The song translates the identity of the Olympic and Paralympic territories into sound, intertwining cultural memory and contemporary vision: the energy of the cities and the majesty of the mountains, the depth of tradition with contemporary vision.
His performance at the Paralympic Opening Ceremony represents the natural development of this bond between the artist and the Games, reinforcing a sound identity that resonates far beyond national borders.
A moment of celebration in a symbolic stage of the Games: Arena di Verona
Following the extraordinary success of the Olympic Closing Ceremony, recently held at the Arena di Verona, the city becomes once again a central stage for the Games.
Produced in collaboration with Filmmaster, the Paralympic Opening Ceremony, promises a powerful fusion of artistic innovation and symbolic depth.
With Dardust at the center of the stage, “Life in Motion” becomes a sound and visual experience: a manifesto of inclusion, sporting identity and social progress.
The objective of Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026, in agreement with the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI), the Italian Paralympic Committee (CIP), Città di Milano and Cortina d’Ampezzo, Regione Veneto and Regione Lombardia, Province autonome di Trento and Bolzano, is to plan, organise, finance and implement the Milano Cortina Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2026.
