**Un’iniziativa senza precedenti dove i partecipanti potranno correre lungo le strade di Milano per vivere in prima persona l’atmosfera olimpica durante i Giochi Invernali Milano Cortina 2026**
Milano, 15 February 2026 – The Salomon New Shapers Run is a non-competitive 10 km run taking place on 21 February in the heart of Milano.
Starting in Via Legnano and finishing at the Arena Civica, it’s designed to engage citizens and enthusiasts in a unique experience in the spirit of the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026.
The event, organised by Salomon, a Premium Partner of the Organising Committee for the Games, is promoted by Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 and sponsored by the City of Milano.
This is an unprecedented initiative, allowing participants to run through the city streets and experience the Olympic atmosphere firsthand during the competitions.
**Physical activity as a means of inclusion**
More than just a sporting event, the Salomon New Shapers Run will be an opportunity to promote physical activity as an expression of inclusion, sharing, and participation.
The route will take you through some of Milano’s most iconic locations and will be brought to life with entertainment and dedicated experiences, all in line with the spirit and values of the Games.
The “New Shapers” concept focuses on the contributions of everyone who will make the Olympic and Paralympic Games possible: athletes, volunteers, professionals, and citizens.
A collective commitment that will help shape the future of sport and create a lasting legacy for local areas and communities.

The objective of Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026, in agreement with the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI), the Italian Paralympic Committee (CIP), Città di Milano and Cortina d’Ampezzo, Regione Veneto and Regione Lombardia, Province autonome di Trento and Bolzano, is to plan, organise, finance and implement the Milano Cortina Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2026.
Established on 9 December 2019, Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is led by President Giovanni Malagò and CEO Andrea Varnier.
