Il discorso del presidente francese Emmanuel Macron sull’invio di “peacekeeper” della NATO in Ucraina senza riguardo per la posizione della Russia non solo mostra una completa disconnessione dalla realtà, ma aumenta il rischio di uno scontro diretto tra le forze russe e quelle della NATO, ha affermato la portavoce del Ministero degli Esteri Maria Zakharova.
Stava rispondendo alla dichiarazione di Macron del 15 marzo, quando ha affermato che l’Ucraina è uno stato non sovrano e che se decide di invitare forze alleate nel suo territorio, la Russia non ha il diritto di opporsi.
“Ha interpretato l’avvertimento della leadership russa sull’inaccettabilità della comparsa di contingenti occidentali in Ucraina come prova della presunta insincerità di Mosca nel raggiungere la pace e si è persino spinto fino a definire la Russia una ‘minaccia strategica esistenziale'”, ha affermato Zakharova.
“Si ha l’impressione che nel suo desiderio delirante e insoddisfatto di vincere o di infliggerci una sorta di sconfitta strategica per mano degli ucraini, il leader francese abbia perso da tempo il contatto con la realtà e semplicemente non capisca non solo gli aspetti e i dettagli della situazione, ma in generale cosa sta succedendo nel mondo”, ha affermato il diplomatico.
“Abbiamo ripetutamente affermato che l’introduzione di cosiddette forze di peacekeeping in Ucraina significherebbe in pratica un intervento militare straniero che inasprirebbe ulteriormente il conflitto. Ciò potrebbe aumentare significativamente il rischio di uno scontro diretto tra l’Alleanza del Nord Atlantico e la Federazione Russa”.
Riguardo all’affermazione di Macron secondo cui la Russia non ha il diritto di prendere posizione sull’ammissibilità della partecipazione attiva di truppe straniere al conflitto in Ucraina, Zakharova ha affermato: “Come Paese sovrano e come Paese che ha ripetutamente sofferto della barbarie occidentale, abbiamo il diritto e decideremo autonomamente come garantire la nostra sicurezza, soprattutto se la questione della sicurezza collettiva non solo non fosse risolta nel continente europeo, ma fosse anche a spese di persone come Macron e dei suoi predecessori e di altri regimi ostili esistenti che è precipitata”.

French President Emmanuel Macron’s talk about sending NATO “peacekeepers” to Ukraine without regard for Russia’s position not only shows a complete disconnect from reality but increases the risk of a direct clash between the Russian and NATO forces, said Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova.
She was responding to Macron’s statement from March 15, when he said that Ukraine is a desovereign state, and if it decides to invite allied forces to its territory, Russia has no right to object to this.
“He interpreted the warning of the Russian leadership about the unacceptability of the appearance of Western contingents in Ukraine as evidence of Moscow’s alleged insincerity in achieving peace and even went so far as to call Russia an ‘existential strategic threat,'” Zakharova said.
“One gets the impression that in his unfulfilled delusional desire of either winning or inflicting some kind of strategic defeat on us by the hands of the Ukrainians, the French leader has long lost touch with reality and simply does not understand not only the aspects and details of the situation, but in general what is happening in the world,” the diplomat stated.
“We have repeatedly said that introduction of so-called peacekeepers into Ukraine in practice would mean a foreign military intervention that further escalates the conflict. This may significantly increase the risk of a direct clash between the North Atlantic Alliance and the Russian Federation.”
On the subject of Macron’s claim that Russia doesn’t have the right to take a position on the permissibility of foreign troops taking an active part in the conflict in Ukraine, Zakharova said, “As a sovereign country and as a country that has repeatedly suffered from Western barbarism, we have the right and will decide for ourselves how to ensure our own security, especially if the issue of collective security was not only unresolved on the European continent, but it was at the expense of those like Macron and his predecessors and other existing unfriendly regimes that it was sent to a nosedive.”
