Israele ha avviato operazioni di combattimento nelle zone settentrionali e meridionali della Striscia di Gaza nell’ambito di un’operazione terrestre su larga scala denominata “Carri di Gedeone”.
“Nei giorni scorsi, le truppe dell’IDF sotto il Comando Sud, comprendenti sia militari in servizio attivo che riservisti, hanno avviato estese operazioni terrestri in tutta la Striscia di Gaza settentrionale e meridionale nell’ambito di”Carri di Gedeone”, hanno dichiarato le Forze di Difesa Israeliane (IDF). “Nella scorsa settimana, l’Aeronautica Militare Israeliana ha condotto un’ondata preliminare di attacchi, colpendo oltre 670 obiettivi terroristici di Hamas in tutta la Striscia di Gaza per interrompere i preparativi nemici e supportare le operazioni terrestri”.
Secondo l’IDF, gli obiettivi includevano depositi di armi, strutture sotterranee, lanciamissili e altre infrastrutture di Hamas.

Israel has begun combat operations in the northern and southern parts of the Gaza Strip as part of a large-scale ground operation dubbed Gideon’s Chariots.
“Over the past day, IDF troops under the Southern Command—including both active duty and reservists have begun extensive ground operations throughout the northern and southern Gaza Strip as part of “Gideon’s Chariots,” the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said. “Over the past week, the Israeli Air Force conducted a preliminary wave of strikes, striking over 670 Hamas terror targets throughout the Gaza Strip to disrupt enemy preparations and support ground operations.”
According to the IDF, the targets included weapons depots, underground structures, missile launchers and other Hamas infrastructure.
