Lancio del Database OECD MAGIC sulle Sovvenzioni Industriali lunedì 1 giugno
L’OECD lancerà la versione pubblica del database OECD Manufacturing Groups and Industrial Corporations (MAGIC) sulle sovvenzioni industriali lunedì 1 giugno alle 11:00 CEST (09:00 GMT) a Parigi.
Utilizzando dati a livello aziendale di 525 produttori, il database MAGIC mostra come le sovvenzioni si sono evolute dal 2005 in 15 settori industriali chiave, inclusi le energie rinnovabili, i semiconduttori e le industrie pesanti come l’acciaio e l’alluminio. Fornisce una visione unica di chi sta ricevendo le sovvenzioni, dove vengono allocate e attraverso quali strumenti politici.
Un rapporto di accompagnamento presenterà i principali risultati osservati negli ultimi 20 anni, inclusa l’evoluzione delle sovvenzioni industriali tra settori e regioni.
Il Segretario Generale dell’OECD Mathias Cormann e la Direttrice del Commercio e dell’Agricoltura Marion Jansen presenteranno il database e il rapporto in una conferenza stampa lunedì 1 giugno alle 11:00 CEST (09:00 GMT).
Il database sarà presentato nel contesto della Riunione del Consiglio Ministeriale OECD 2026 (MCM), che si terrà il 3 e 4 giugno 2026, con il tema “Getting Industrial Policies Right for Open Markets, Growth and Prosperity”. La riunione del 2026 MCM è presieduta dalla Finlandia, con la Repubblica di Corea e la Nuova Zelanda come Vice-Presidenti.

Launch of the OECD MAGIC Database of Industrial Subsidies on Monday 1 June
The OECD will launch the public version of the OECD Manufacturing Groups and Industrial Corporations (MAGIC) database on industrial subsidies on Monday 1 June at 11:00 CEST (09:00 GMT) in Paris.
Using firm-level data from 525 manufacturers, the MAGIC database shows how subsidies have evolved since 2005 across 15 key industrial sectors, including renewable energy, semiconductors, and heavy industries such as steel and aluminium. It provides a unique view of who is receiving subsidies, where they are being allocated, and through which policy instruments.
An accompanying report will present key findings observed over the past 20 years, including the evolution of industrial subsidies across sectors and regions.
OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann and Director of Trade and Agriculture Marion Jansen will present the database and report at a press conference on Monday 1 June at 11:00 CEST (9:00 GMT).
The database will be presented in the context of the OECD 2026 Ministerial Council Meeting (MCM), taking place on 3 and 4 June 2026, under the theme of “Getting Industrial Policies Right for Open Markets, Growth and Prosperity.” The 2026 MCM is chaired by Finland, with the Republic of Korea and New Zealand as Vice-Chairs.
