# OECD Ministerial Council Meeting, 3-4 giugno 2026
La riunione del Consiglio ministeriale dell’OCSE 2026 (MCM), presieduta dalla Finlandia, con la Repubblica di Corea e la Nuova Zelanda come Vice-Presidenti, si terrà il 3 e 4 giugno 2026 presso la sede dell’OCSE a Parigi.
Una serie di riunioni correlate e eventi collaterali si svolgeranno a partire dal 1° giugno 2026.
La MCM 2026, sul tema “Getting Industrial Policies Right for Open Markets, Growth and Prosperity”, discuterà di come le politiche industriali dovrebbero guidare lo sviluppo tecnologico preservando i mercati aperti e la concorrenza, e come i governi possono gestire i compromessi coinvolti.
Sessioni selezionate della MCM e degli eventi correlati saranno aperte ai media in persona e online.
Il 1° giugno alle 11:00-11:30 CEST si terrà il lancio del database OECD Manufacturing Groups and Industrial Corporation (MAGIC) con osservazioni introduttive del Segretario Generale dell’OCSE Mathias Cormann e una presentazione del database da parte di Marion Jansen, Direttore OCSE per il Commercio e l’Agricoltura.
Il 2 giugno dalle 12:00 alle 13:30 CEST si svolgerà l’evento collaterale della Riunione del Consiglio Ministeriale dell’OCSE “International Co-operation for the Second Quantum Revolution”, che riunirà alti funzionari governativi, leader dell’industria ed esperti per definire un approccio globalmente coordinato alle tecnologie quantistiche. Supportato da Finlandia, Corea, Giappone e Regno Unito, l’evento collaterale si concentrerà su azioni politiche concrete per accelerare la seconda rivoluzione quantistica, inclusi finanziamenti per la ricerca e l’innovazione, accesso alla tecnologia, sviluppo della forza lavoro e catene di approvvigionamento resilienti, garantendo che le tecnologie quantistiche promuovano la prosperità economica e l’interesse pubblico.
Il 2 giugno dalle 14:00 alle 18:00 CEST si terrà il Forum economico internazionale per l’America Latina e i Caraibi. Insieme al Segretario Generale dell’OCSE Mathias Cormann, al Direttore del Centro di Sviluppo Ragnheiður Elín Árnadóttir e ad altri relatori illustri, le sessioni esploreranno risposte attuabili alle sfide critiche dell’America Latina e dei Caraibi.
Il 2 giugno dalle 15:00 alle 17:00 CEST si terrà l’evento collaterale “Advancing International Cooperation on Artificial Intelligence: The AI Policy Toolkit and the Hiroshima AI Process Reporting Framework”. L’OCSE è stata in prima linea negli sforzi internazionali per promuovere l’IA incentrata sull’uomo, attraverso iniziative come i Principi OCSE sull’IA, il Global Partnership on AI (GPAI) e il Reporting Framework per il Hiroshima AI Process (HAIP) Codice internazionale di condotta per le organizzazioni che sviluppano sistemi di IA avanzati. Co-organizzato con il supporto di Costa Rica, Giappone e Regno Unito, questo evento collaterale presenterà presentazioni e l’opportunità di discutere strumenti sviluppati di recente a supporto della politica dell’IA, incluso il primo rilascio del AI Policy Toolkit e una versione aggiornata del HAIP Reporting Framework.
Il 2 giugno dalle 15:45 alle 17:30 CEST si terrà l’evento “The OECD’s Transformative Impact: OECD Accession”. Insieme al Segretario Generale dell’OCSE Mathias Cormann, la Repubblica di Corea del Sud evidenzierà il valore del rafforzamento dell’impegno globale dell’OCSE e del supporto ai paesi nel muoversi più vicino agli standard e alle migliori pratiche dell’OCSE, attingendo all’esperienza di accesso della Corea.
Il 3 giugno alle 09:00-09:45 CEST si terrà il lancio dell’OECD Economic Outlook. Prima dell’apertura della MCM, l’OCSE pubblicherà il suo ultimo Economic Outlook con analisi e proiezioni per l’economia mondiale. Il Segretario Generale dell’OCSE Mathias Cormann presenterà l’Outlook con il Capo Economista Stefano Scarpetta.
Il 3 giugno dalle 10:00 alle 11:00 CEST si terrà la Cerimonia di apertura della Riunione del Consiglio Ministeriale 2026. Osservazioni introduttive del Segretario Generale dell’OCSE Mathias Cormann. Discorso inaugurale del Primo Ministro della Finlandia, Petteri Orpo. Osservazioni dei Vice-Presidenti, la Repubblica di Corea e la Nuova Zelanda. Celebrazione del 10° anniversario del Programma Regionale per l’America Latina e i Caraibi.
Il 3 giugno dalle 11:00 alle 12:00 CEST si terrà il panel “Setting the Scene for Industrial Policy Discussion”. Sessione pubblica con relatori da confermare.
Il 4 giugno dalle 14:45 alle 15:15 CEST (soggetto a cambiamenti dell’ultimo minuto) si terrà la Conferenza stampa di chiusura della Riunione del Consiglio Ministeriale con osservazioni del Segretario Generale dell’OCSE Mathias Cormann e della Ministra degli Esteri della Finlandia Elina Valtonen.

OECD Ministerial Council Meeting, 3-4 June 2026
The OECD 2026 Ministerial Council Meeting (MCM), chaired by Finland, with the Republic of Korea and New Zealand as Vice-Chairs, will be held on 3 and 4 June 2026 at OECD Headquarters in Paris.
A series of related meetings and side events will take place from 1 June 2026.
The 2026 MCM, under the theme “Getting Industrial Policies Right for Open Markets, Growth and Prosperity”, will discuss how industrial policies should guide technological development while preserving open markets and competition, and how governments can manage the trade-offs that are involved.
Selected sessions of the MCM and related events will be open to media in person and online.
On 1 June at 11:00–11:30 CEST, the Launch of the OECD Manufacturing Groups and Industrial Corporation (MAGIC) database will take place. Opening remarks by OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann followed by a presentation of the database by Marion Jansen, OECD Director for Trade and Agriculture.
On 2 June from 12:00-13:30 CEST, the OECD’s Ministerial Council Meeting side event, International Co-operation for the Second Quantum Revolution, will bring together senior government officials, industry leaders and experts to shape a globally co-ordinated approach to quantum technologies. Supported by Finland, Korea, Japan, and the United Kingdom, the side event will focus on concrete policy actions to accelerate the second quantum revolution, including research and innovation funding, access to technology, workforce development, and resilient supply chains, while ensuring that quantum technologies advance economic prosperity and the public interest.
On 2 June from 14:00-18:00 CEST, the International Economic Forum on Latin America and the Caribbean will take place. Alongside OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann, Development Centre Director Ragnheiður Elín Árnadóttir, and other distinguished speakers, the sessions will explore actionable responses to Latin America and the Caribbean’s critical challenges.
On 2 June from 15:00-17:00 CEST, the side event “Advancing International Cooperation on Artificial Intelligence: The AI Policy Toolkit and the Hiroshima AI Process Reporting Framework” will be held. The OECD has been at the forefront of international efforts to promote human-centred AI, through initiatives such as the OECD AI Principles, the Global Partnership on AI (GPAI), and the Reporting Framework for the Hiroshima AI Process (HAIP) International Code of Conduct for Organizations Developing Advanced AI Systems. Co-organised with the support of Costa Rica, Japan, and the United Kingdom, this side event will feature presentations and the opportunity to discuss recently developed tools supporting AI policy, including the first release of the AI Policy Toolkit and an updated version of the HAIP Reporting Framework.
On 2 June from 15:45-17:30 CEST, the event “The OECD’s Transformative Impact: OECD Accession” will be held. Alongside OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann, the Republic of South Korea will highlight the value of strengthening the OECD’s global engagement and supporting countries in moving closer to OECD standards and best practices, drawing on Korea’s own accession experience.
On 3 June at 09:00-09:45 CEST, the Launch of the OECD Economic Outlook will take place. Prior to the opening of the MCM, the OECD will publish its latest Economic Outlook with analysis and projections for the world economy. OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann will present the Outlook with Chief Economist Stefano Scarpetta.
On 3 June from 10:00-11:00 CEST, the Opening Ceremony of the 2026 Ministerial Council Meeting will be held. Opening Remarks by OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann.
