10.793 vittime registrate di tratta di esseri umani nel 2023. Nel 2023, il numero di vittime registrate di tratta di esseri umani nell’UE era 10.793. C’erano 8.471 sospetti trafficanti e 2.309 trafficanti condannati.
Quasi due terzi (63%) delle vittime registrate di tratta di esseri umani erano donne o ragazze. Nel frattempo, meno di un quarto dei sospetti e dei condannati trafficanti erano donne (rispettivamente il 24% e il 23%).
Tra le vittime registrate la cui forma di sfruttamento è stata segnalata, c’erano 4.201 vittime trafficate per sfruttamento sessuale (il 43,8% di tutte le vittime), 3.457 vittime trafficate per lavoro forzato (36,0%) e 1.937 vittime trafficate per altri scopi, come l’espianto di organi, frode sui sussidi, attività criminali, accattonaggio forzato e altri (il 20,2% di tutte le vittime di tratta).
Si è registrato un notevole aumento del numero di vittime registrate vittime di tratta per lavoro forzato o servizi. Tra il 2008 e il 2018 la quota di queste vittime si è attestata tra il 14% e il 21% e dal 2019 in poi la quota è stata tra il 28% e il 41%

10 793 registered victims of human trafficking in 2023.
In 2023, the number of registered victims of trafficking in human beings in the EU was 10 793. There were 8 471 suspected traffickers and 2 309 convicted traffickers.
Nearly two-thirds (63%) of the registered victims of human trafficking were women or girls. Meanwhile, less than a quarter of suspected and convicted traffickers were women (24% and 23%, respectively).
Among the registered victims whose form of exploitation was reported, there were 4 201 victims trafficked for sexual exploitation (43.8% of all victims), 3 457 victims trafficked for forced labour (36.0%) and 1 937 victims trafficked for other purposes, such as organ removal, benefit fraud, criminal activities, forced begging and others (20.2% of all trafficking victims).
There was a notable increase in the number of registered victims trafficked for forced labour or services. Between 2008 and 2018 the share of these victims stood between 14% and 21% and from 2019 onwards the share was between 28% and 41%
